Dear Families,

Our topic this week is “Now I Know My ABC’s” During the next few weeks we will celebrate and review what we have learned about letters, numbers, and words. We will be reading alphabet and kindergarten transition books. Our read-aloud this week is a tale from AESOP titled “The Tortoise and the HareYou can help your child learn more by talking to them about the things that they are doing in school, and the letters, words and numbers they have learned. ASK? Can you see some words in our home? Do you know the names of those words? What other letters do you know? Show me, can your write them? Can you point them out and name them? This can be done with numbers as well

Our letter study for this week is the letter “Ll” for Larry Lion.
